Design and Technology provides an opportunity for the people to identity and utilize locally available natural resources, materials and modern tools to satisfy man's needs and desires.
This course is designed to provide students with desirable knowledge and skills in designing, planning, and building processes in Design and Technology - Wood.
This course encompasses specific skills and concepts in Woodwork from source of wood material through processes to production of an artefact. It provides a strong theoretical foundation for the study and practice of Design and Technology in Woodwork using a variety of scientific approaches and strategies. It focuses at developing the learners abilities to solve problems by investigating, developing, evaluating as well as communicating effectively using different modes for efficient production of required and desired products in life.
